About the Band

Aaron: (Front Man, Rhythm Guitar)

I am blessed to be diving into my 4th year of full time traveling as a Christian Artist/Worship Leader!  It has been an awesome road and I have been very fortunate to travel with some great band members over the years.  The current band are definitely among the very best.

I am married to an incredible woman of God.. Rachel.  This summer we will celebrate 7 years of marriage!  Crazy to think it has been that long!  She still looks as good as the day I married her.  She is an unreal source of encouragement and support, and truly her selflessness is the reason I have been able to (and will be able to) enjoy this awesome ministry!

I enjoy great, fresh, insightful music that challenges the musical status quo and has deep and poetic lyrics.  I love to read and hear about vintage men and women who had a burning passion for the Lord.  A.W. Tozer is a great example of what I am talking about.  I love to follow in their footsteps.

I am in the process of writing another album, and hope to be at a place in the next year to where I can get started on it.

Chad: (Bass, Keys, BGV’s)

I came in contact with Chad when he was referred to me by my then lead guitar player Stephen Kanicka.  The message Stephen left on my voicemail went something like “this guy is one of the best bass players I have ever heard.. his pedal board is bigger than mine!”… I decided to give Chad a call in April 2009, when his wife Erika was pregnant with his first child, Caillet. (He now has 2 children under 2 years old, so know that his portion of the band’s funds is being well spent!)  The next event I booked him for he didn’t show up to because his wife was in labor!  I learned very quickly that I had an extremely talented musician on my hands, and later learned that I had found a great friend in ministry.   Chad is beyond a key component to the band, and I am blessed to travel with him.

Cole: (Lead Guitar, BGV)

Before I started traveling full time I spent 3 1/2 years as youth minister at a small church just south of my hometown called Spring Creek Baptist.  When I arrived there in November 2003 I had a ninth grader who did nothing but walk around with his “Honer” acoustic guitar and play Dashboard Confessional covers in some random alternate tuning.  Never in my wildest dreams did I believe we would one day travel together across the country.  I have had the privilege to see Cole evolve from student to friend, and from one of the endless rabble of “guitar center hero’s” to a legit force in his craft!  It has been very cool to see, and you will see soon enough that he’s got game!  He has a great heart for ministry, and a great talent for lead guitar!

Bryan: (Drums)

Bryan is the newest addition to our group.  He has done a few events with me so far, and I have been so impressed with his ability and attitude that I have signed him on for every one of my events through the end of the summer!  He is the total package.  Phenomenal drummer, mature in his faith, married, and he is 30 just like me!   He recently celebrated his 1 year anniversary with his wife Amanda.

Aaron Wagner Official Bio:

Aaron Wagner is a Christian artist and worship leader who’s pop-rock, edgy sounds blend with honest and challenging lyrics to bring an experience that is anything but ordinary!  He is a talented and humble man who truly cares about God, people, and good music.  His greatest passion for his life and art is that it would honor Christ in every way and resonate true hope in the hearts of a broken and confused generation.

The drive to write quality music and see God honored in worship has been present in Aaron’s life from the moment he picked up his first guitar.  In May 2007, after many discussions with his wife Rachel, he stepped out from seven years in youth ministry to travel full time and begin work on his debut album, Paint Me a Picture.  The 2008 release was the result of a deep desire to bring fresh new music that would draw people directly to the heart of God.  The album continues to receive great feedback, steadily gaining momentum over the past two years.

God has opened some awesome doors along the way!  The album’s title track “Paint Me a Picture” has already seen air time on local and national radio stations such as 94.9 KLTY’s “New Music Café” and DFW’s 89.7 Power FM.  His song “From the Dawn” was published in Spin 360 Magazine; a worship resource that goes out to over 2000 churches nation-wide.  Aaron has also proudly partnered with the internet accountability group, Covenant Eyes.  His song “Calling Out” was chosen for their Covenant Musicians promotional video featuring Mark Hall (Casting Crowns), Phil Joel (Newsboys), and Clay Crosse. www.covenantmusicians.com/media.

Aaron Wagner’s current schedule includes concerts, festivals, summer camps, youth events, worship services, and any other of the opportunities set before him.
